Media & Creative Industries
The Media & Creative Industries Cluster supports creative tech startups developing innovative solutions at the intersection of media, technology, and society — from cross-media platforms and immersive experiences to AI-driven content, gaming, edtech, and digital cultural formats.
Designed for founders with an MVP or early market traction, the program helps refine market positioning, validate use cases, and build sustainable funding and growth strategies.
The media and creative industries in Europe account for 4.4% of the European GDP and provide employment to over 8 million people.
Now, with the rise of artificial intelligence, the industry is facing yet another paradigm shift. AI is enabling creative startups to build scalable business models and expand their impact.
Intellectual Property (IP) as a game changer:
Technological innovation—particularly AI—is accelerating the transformation of how IP is developed, promoted, and distributed, shaping the future of the creative economy.
Beyond the traditional production of content like films or video games, the development of IP is becoming a key driver of growth. It allows for greater diversification of business models and long-term value creation.
This trend is particularly evident in the media and creative sectors, but it also extends to industries such as automotive, finance, and beyond—any sector seeking to build strong, loyal communities through meaningful content and engagement.
